Before traveling to China, foreign nationals may complete the arrival card online through any of the following platforms:

3. Who Is Exempt from Completing the Arrival Card?

Seven categories of travelers are exempt from filing an arrival card:

(3)Visitors entering with a group visa or under visa-free group entry arrangements

(4)Travelers in direct transit within 24 hours who remain within the designated port area

(5)Cruise ship passengers who enter and exit China aboard the same vessel
